$15 Discount on any class $75 or more; you must be 62 or older and you must fill in your birth date on the registration form or mention that you qualify if registering by phone or in person. This is funded by a generous donation from the Genworth Foundation. If you qualify, please take advantage of this!
Class Registration Guidelines & Information:
- Register Early!
- Classes without sufficient enrollment 2-5 days prior to the first class date will be canceled. Fees are 100% refundable if the class is canceled by the AFA.
- Late registration is welcome if space is available.
- Full payment must accompany registration; you are not registered for the class until we receive payment.
- Payment maybe made by cash, check (payable to Academy of Fine Arts), VISA, Mastercard, or American Express.
- We are happy to transfer your registration from one class to a different one as necessary. Please notify us at least 10 days before the class start date so that we may better assist you. A $10 fee will be assessed at the time of transfer.
- 85% of class fees will be refunded, unless the withdrawal notice is received within one week (7 days) of the classes first meeting, then no refund will be issued.
- Cancellations due to inclement weather follow the Lynchburg City School system.
- If a class meeting is cancelled, a make-up meeting on the same day/time is added to the end of the session.
- Sometimes we have photographers taking pictures of our classes which are used in our information and publicity. If you do not want photographs of yourself or your children used please notify us in writing on your registration form.
