The Music Man Junior at the Lynchburg City Market

Students of Encore! performed segments from "The Music Man Junior" July 16 at the Lynchburg City Market. As you can see from the photos, the performance at the City Market was a success. "The Music Man Junior" is an Encore! performance presented by thirty-four local middle and high school students on Friday, July 22 at 7:30pm and Saturday, July 23 at 2:30pm at the Joy and Lynch Christian Warehouse Theatre. Jeff and Loretta Wittman direct this lively acting troupe, Troy Mearkle directs the memorable musical numbers, and Megan Emanuel choreographs the spirited dance numbers. Encore! is the Academy’s month-long summer theatre camp, featuring morning classes in acting, dance, costuming, music, make-up and technical theatre. Afternoons are devoted to rehearsals, with the session culminating in a musical theatre production.
