At the "Off the Wall" Live and Silent Auction at the Academy of Fine Arts on Thursday, November 9 at 6:30 PM. At auction a selection of over eighty original works of art including oil paintings, vibrant water colors, encaustics, pottery, quilted and fiber tapestries, art photographs, etched blown glass, and a unique, one of a kind handcrafted musical instrument.

There's something for every price range, from silver jewelry and pet portrait commissions to the vintage Art Deco silk screen or bronze hand mirror by fashion designer, Erte. Take home a rare piece of cultural history with one of the 13 plaster casts of original reliefs from the historic Academy of Music Theatre.

View the artwork Monday through Friday, 9am to 5 pm to pick out your favorite piece and even make a bid. Then get your tickets at 434-846-TIXX and join the fun and excitement at the Off the Wall Auction at the Academy of Fine Arts, Fifth and Commerce streets in Lynchburg.
