Annual Holiday Pottery Sale Kicks Off The Shopping Season

LYNCHBURG - (October 29, 2012) The Academy of Fine Arts hosts the annual Holiday Pottery Sale this Friday through Sunday (2nd-4th) in the Academy’s Pottery Studio, featuring unique handmade gifts made by local potters.

Sale hours are as follows:

Friday, November 2
4:30 - 8:00 (Open during First Fridays!)

Saturday, November 3
10:30 - 2:00

Sunday November 4
12:00 - 2:00

Sale items include fountains, planters, bird houses, mugs, casserole dishes, plates, glass and clay ornaments, plates, bowls, glass suncatchers, night lights, jewelry, castles, bird bowls, turtles, leaf dishes, fish plates and more! All pottery pieces are handmade by local potters.

Potters featured in the sale include Ted Batt, May Carter, Jill Campbell, Lydia Kalyna, Ella Duckworth, Jane Garrett, Kari Guetterman, Bea Gutierrez, Donna Headley, Suzanne Michaels, Richard Mooney, Judy Noon, Sarah Reid, Sally Von Oesen and Cindy Walraven.
