CHILDREN AGES 6 & UP or ADULTS

$140 – up to 10 children or adults

Please register 4 weeks in advance.

Children’s Birthdays:

These are arts projects birthday parties with a themed project in clay, glass (ages 8 up) painting or printmaking.

Themes could include:

  • Space aliens
  • Down on the farm (animal sculptures)
  • Princess or fairy (clay figure, crown)
  • Under the sea
  • Rainforest
  • Peter pan or other book or story characters
  • And really any theme your child chooses that we can come up with projects for!

Other details:

  • Cost of $150 covers 10 guests (including birthday child)
  • Extra guests can attend for $12 each up to 15 total.
  • We have found that the party works best for age 6 and up.
  • We provide cupcakes, drinks (usually lemonade), colorful plates and napkins, cups and of course instruction for the art project with all materials included
  • You are welcome to bring other decorations or snacks or favors; you may arrive up to 45 minutes before the party to decorate.
  • The projects usually last about an hour and 15 minutes to sometimes an hour and a half. The birthday cupcakes are either served after the projects are completed, or at a stopping point to let projects dry before decorating. Party should be over in about 2 hours.

You would be responsible for:

  • Inviting the guests
  • Making sure they have directions to the studio
  • Finished projects will be picked up by you and you are responsible for returning them to your guests

When we agree on a theme, day and time, along with number of guests, the Academy will send you a contract to sign and return with payment (cash, check or credit/debit card).

Finally, children enjoy the projects we plan, and have a good time!

Classes for Adults:

We have had work groups come in for team building activities, church groups, alumni organizations and circles of friends looking for a fun, creative activity to do together. Parameters are the same as for birthdays as far as fees, but activities are more specific, for example: handbuild a bowl, learn to make a cylinder and add a creative handle so it becomes a coffee mug.
